In collaboration with the Espace Ski de Rando de Chartreuse, we offer this training in order to master the use of DVA-Sonde-Pelle emergency equipment as well as the methods of searching, locating and clearing a buried victim. The training is based on internationally recognized methods and knowledge.
1- In the room (1 hour):
Coffee / Home / Presentations.
Presentation of DVAs, probes, excavators and operation.
Justification of the autonomous rescue.
What to do in the event of an avalanche accident (in a group/alone).
DVA/sensor/excavator research phases.
2- In the field (3 hours):
Group "Transmit/Receive" control procedure.
Training in the research phases with DVA.
Survey techniques.
Simple burial research.
Shoveling techniques.
Simple avalanche rescue scenario.
3- In the room (30 min.):
Debriefing of the day.
Duration: ½ day, meet at 8:30 am at the reception desk of the Espace Ski de Rando, in St-Pierre-de-Chartreuse
Objectives: autonomy in DVA search and simple avalanche rescue.
Travel on the ground: on snowshoes, on foot or on skis according to your practice.
Equipment required: adequate equipment + DVA-shovel-personal probe if already equipped.
Price: 25 euros / person.
Groups: consult us (min. 4 people).
Group of 8 people maximum.
Framing: Authorized ANENA mountain guides.
Documents provided: Training booklet "Avalanche Rescue in Autonomy".
